Mike Watts inducted into Mississippi Bar Foundation.
Mike Watts has been selected as a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation. According to the Foundation, Mr. Watts was selected based on his “outstanding career, and as importantly, (his) demonstrated commitment to the profession and the public.” He was inducted into membership at the Foundation’s Annual Meeting and Fellows Induction Ceremony held at the Old Capitol Inn in Jackson on April 15.
The Mississippi Bar Foundation, Inc. was organized in 1963 in response to the need for an organization to improve and facilitate the administration of justice. The Foundation administers Lawyers Trust Accounts (IOLTA) Program. Interest earned by this program is used for providing legal aid to the poor; providing law-related education programs for the public; providing student loans and scholarships; and improving the administration of justice.
